Wine Dinner

Ciao Dear friends and Patrons,
on Tuesday, September 25th, 2007 @ 7:30 p.m., “La Parolaccia Osteria Italiana” in Long Beach will host a regional Wine Dinner.
The menu will feature traditional dishes from Trentino Alto Adige, paired with some excellent wines from this Northern Italian region.
Trentino Alto Adige is laid out along the country’s northeastern border with Austria. It is a breathtaking land of saw-toothed ridges and snow capped peaks with the beautiful city of Trento as its capital.
This region is one the Italians’ favorite ski resort areas.
In the northern part, Alto Adige, also known as SudTyrol, the German language is still prevalent.

On Tuesday, June 26th, 2007 “La Parolaccia Osteria Italiana” in Long Beach will host a regional Wine Dinner featuring a menu and wines from the regions of Lazio and Umbria.
Region Lazio (Latium) is in the heart of Italy and along the Thyrrenian Sea.
Lazio is the center of the Italian political life thanks to to the presence of the Government and the Parliament; it is the Catholic world center since there is the Vatican and a favorite tourism destination because of its capital the Eternal city : Rome.
Region Umbria is also in the heart of Italy, but is not touched by the sea.
The territory is for one-third mountains and for the rest hills covered with olives tree and vineyards. Umbria is also among the first producers in Europe of black truffle.
Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto and Perugia are also very famous tourist destinations.

On Tuesday, April 24th, 2007 “La Parolaccia Osteria Italiana” in Long Beach will host a regional Wine Dinner, featuring a five courses menu and wines from the Italian region of Campania.
Even if you have never heard of this Italian region, we are sure you have dreamed of visiting it at least once. With Naples as its capital, it is home to the world-renowned Amalfi Coast, the ancient tragic city of Pompei and the romantic isle of Capri. It is also the birthplace of pizza, spaghetti and buffalo mozzarella.
